How long does the battery last?
Up to 30 hours on the low setting.
That figure is the low speed. Running it on high draws considerably more, so expect a full working day rather than three. Three speeds means you can sit on low most of the time and save the top speed for when you actually need it.
Can it really charge my phone?
Yes — 5000mAh is roughly one full phone charge for most handsets.
Charging your phone from it will obviously use the same battery that runs the fan, so it is a backup rather than a second power bank. On a campsite or a long day out, it is the feature people end up most glad they had.
The light and SOS mode
Bright to roughly 100 metres, with a flashing SOS alarm setting.
Useful when a job runs past sunset or a trail takes longer than planned. It is a genuine work light, not a token LED.
